USE
The C2O interface converts the signals coming from the coaxial digital input and from the analog AUX-IN into a TOSLINK optical digital output signal (up to 24 bit/192kHz).
The conversion allows the integration of the new Hi-Res portable devices equipped with coaxial digital output (75Ω) and smartphones with analog output on 3.5 mm mini Jack (also 4 poles) with Audison processors featuring an optical digital input compatible with the resolution of the signal sent to the C20.
Thanks to its extreme compactness, the C20 can be installed in a hidden position on the dashboard, drastically reducing the length of the cabling between the portable player and the receiving device nullifying in this way any issues with interfacing.
FEATURES
The coaxial digital input is provided with an isolation transformer that improves the balance between the transmitter and the receiver circuit, reducing noise due to EMI electromagnetic interference, which is particularly insidious inside the passenger compartment.
The AUX-IN input is equipped with a pre-amplifier with adjustable gain of 0.1V ÷ 2V for an optimal coupling with each device before the Analog-Digital conversion is performed by a high quality converter at a resolution of 24 bit/48 kHz.
For maximum ease of use in cars, the C2O independently selects the input with priority assigned to the AUX-IN. With the default setting, after 6 seconds of no analog signal, the C2O moves to the coaxial digital input. An internal switch allows for the time before the switch to be set to 9 or 12 seconds.
The new Audison DRC MP (Digital Remote Control Multimedia Play) is compatible with all the Audison electronics featuring AC Link bus. Its slim profile along with the holder supplied with it eases the installation in the best position inside the car. Thanks to the new Joystick, “Rubber Touch” finished for best control of the movements along the four direction axes, the “DRC Settings” menu can be adjusted and navigation is also possible through the “Navi Command” function if the system features an Audison bit Play HD with video output connected to a monitor.
DRC AB enables the main system control (volume, balance, fader and subwoofer volume, bass-boost) without the use of a PC. Thanks to this device, installed in an ergonomic position within the car dashboard, the user can: choose between the four DSP presets and select the source among master, auxiliary and the two optical digital inputs.
bit DMI is a digital interface for MOST systems, providing the ability to connect the Audison bit processors and the Audison amplifiers, equipped with digital input, to OEM multimedia systems in cars featuring the MOST technology based on optical fibre. Thanks to the digital connection, the signal can be transmitted without loss of quality, keeping the audio controls built in the OEM head unit – such as volume, balance and tone controls- as well as the hands-free kit, navigation system and parking sensors alerts unaltered.
Stereo passive mixer (unpowered) featuring 4 input channels and 2 output channels, designed for active OEM multi-way systems where each speaker is powered by one specific amplified channel. SPM4 mixes audio through 4 audio transformers specifically developed to achieve very low distortion and highly linear acoustic response. SPM4 provides the ability to mix the midrange/woofer and tweeter channels coming from the amplifier and supply one single mid-high channel. The Ch1(L/R) channels feature two inputs, one features an inverting input compared to Ch2 (L/R) channels; the mixing process often gives better results when one of the two channels undergoes a 180° dephasing. SPM4 is especially recommended to extend the number of inputs of the Audison digital processors or amplifiers with built-in DSP because they feature a De-equalizer (De-Eq). In that case, any possible non-linear acoustic emissions due to the mixing of the pre-existing filtered channels are duly compensated.
Cable with eight pairs of labeled cables to connect the speakers to the AP/ APF 8.9 bit amplifiers
Six stereo RCAs interconnection to connect Prima APF 8.9 bit with after-market sources with PRE-OUT outputs
Control interconnection to control memory selection and remote power-on.
Cable with 6 pairs of labeled wires to connect AP/ APF 8.9 bit with the high level output of OEM sources
This optional high flexible adapter, made with automotive grade parts, allows the use of Prima Extension Input cables (AP 560P&P IN – AP 260P&P IN – AP 160P&P IN) with AP F8.9 bit amplifier without the need of any soldering.

Optical adapter to extend optical cables featuring TOSLINK connectors.
PACKAGE: Polybag – Qty. 1
Optical cable ending with Toslink connectors for S/PDIF digital audio signals. Cable length 4,5 m/177,16”
PACKAGE: Polybag Qty. 1
Optical digital audio signal cable, designed for car audio applications, allowing the transfer of the optical signal without signal loss. An especially thicker sheath protects the optical fibre to prevent the cable from damages if it is pressed against sharp edges. The metal connector protects the optical fibre along its full length, ensuring a stable transmission of the signal also in the event of strong vibrations. Ending with Toslink connectors for S/PDIF digital audio signals.
Cable length 4,5 m/177,16”
PACKAGE: Polybag Qty. 1
It is a kit composed of a cable and an adapter allowing a 2 m / 78.74 in. additional extension of the cable supplied with the DRC. This extension is required for installations on especially long vehicles such as SUV’s. Total length of the supplied cable with the extension is equal to 6,5 m / 225.90 in.

The new AP F8.9 bit is the ideal for the most demanding integration projects, where high power is required along with the flexibility of the nine-channel DSP. The word “Forza”, meaning “Power” in Italian, well describes the 8 x 85 W RMS and 4 x 260 in bridge mode (RMS @ 4Ω), with an optimal power to size ratio. The integrated processor is equipped with a dedicated software and 7 pre-configured presets for a Plug & Sound experience. Thanks to the built-in Audison USS technology (Universal Speakers Simulator), AP F8.9 bit can also be correctly connected to head-units with “speaker load detection” function that monitors the presence of a low-impedance load to enable the audio outputs.

Load Imp. | 8 Channels | 4 Channels (bridge) |
4 Ohm | 85 W x 8 | 260 W x 4 |
2 Ohm | 130 W x 8 |

Pure digital signal transfer with a resolution up to 24 bit / 48 kHz.

Auto tuning by Audison bit Tune and communication with bit Drive portal.

De-equalization function to “flatten” any equalization applied by default by OEM sources.

USS technology allows Prima amplifiers to work with head-units featuring the “speaker load detection” circuit

When AP bit amplifiers are installed into a compatible vehicle using the iDatalink Maestro AR (sold separately), the user can enjoy a perfect integration with factory installed navigation, advanced safety systems, voice-controlled hands-free and infotainment. (Only for North America)
